24 hour stress free boarding for small to medium and large dogs. We offer pick up and delivery. There's no charge for medications and special needs, including insulin injections. All dogs get 3 country walks a day plus play time in individual outdoor enclosures. All kennels heated in Winter and cooled in Summer. Bring your dogs favorite things. Rabies certificate required.

Story

Established in 1999. I'm a professional show dog handler of Toy breeds and a AKC breeder of Merit of Japanese Chin so Willowood started as my show kennel. I wanted to create a boarding facility that catered to the special needs of small and medium breeds. Willowood is a quiet, healing place in a country setting that does not tolerate excessive barking and stressful situations. We strive to insure that every dog has a comfortable, fun boarding experience and everyone goes home rested and happy with a new toy!.I created cageless enclosures that are roomy enough to accommodate your pets special bed and toys. I also have large separate sleeping crates for those pets that seek the security of their own private spaces. Sooz Warfirld - Business Owner

Suzanne (Sooz) Warfield spent the first half of her life showing and training horses and teaching all levels of horsemanship. She and.her late husband raised and trained appaloosa horses for many years until she discovered the charm of Pomeranians. In 1989 she started to breed and show these dogs and eventually handling many other breeds. Her heart was captured by the wonderful catlike little dog, the Japanese Chin and she has bred many champions. In 2010, she showed her grand champion Japanese Chin, Willowoods Very Versace at Westminster Kennel Club show at Madison Square Garden, New York City and won the bred which entitled them to show in the Toy Group. She is a Reiki Master and IET energy practitioner and offers healing to her canine guests as well as to humans.At present she is a published author of flash fiction and has written a novel that is pending publication. She is a Breeder of Merit with the AKC, a member of the Japanese Chin Club of America and the Lehigh Kennel Club!
