Moorhead – the Village Family Service Center and Barn Haus Studios/Border Construction Design-Build Team Ceremoniously Broke Ground Monday, May 13, To Celebrate Construction Starting On the Village’s New Moorhead Location At 815 37th Ave. S. the Planned Office Building Will House the Village’s Children’s Mental Health Services, Which Have Been Located At 1401 8th St. S., Moorhead. the New Site, Just North of the Azool Center, Doubles the Available Space for Therapy Sessions and Provides Convenient Access and Parking for Families. the Nonprofit Planned To Relocate the Moorhead Office in the Fall of 2019. “the Village Is Excited About the Opportunity To Increase Our Behavioral Health Services With the New Moorhead Space,” Said President and Ceo Jeff Pederson. “this Expansion Has Been A Long-Range Goal of Ours, and We Will Be Better Able To Meet the Needs of Our Community in This Location.” the Portion of the Building To Be Leased by the Village Includes 16 Therapist Offices and Two Play Therapy Rooms With Observation Windows. an Additional 2,000 Square Feet To Be Leased Out Could Be Used for Expansion by the Village in the Future. the Moorhead City Council Recently Approved A Tax Incentive for the Project. the Village Is Also Opening A New Fargo Location On May 20 for Its Counseling, Intensive Outpatient and First Step Recovery Programs. the Address Is 2701 12th Ave. S., Fargo. the Village Is Based in Fargo and Has Offices in 15 Communities Across North Dakota and Minnesota.
