Over the Years, Local Favorites Such As She-Crab Soup and Shrimp & Grits Have Become Permanent Fixtures On the Menu, Making Saffron A True Fusion of Food From Around the Globe With Lowcountry Favorites. To Prepare for A Menu of Its Diversity, Saffron Demands A Team of Chefs and Prep Cooks To Work Around the Clock. 1/3 of Its Space Is Dedicated To the Kitchen, and in Its Third Year, Another Location Had To Be Acquired To Handle the Added Demand. Finally, A 10,000 Sq. Ft. Space Was Refurbished To House 24-Hour Production of Freshly Baked Goods Which Are Delivered Daily To Local Hotels and Restaurants. the Cafe’s Recent Remodel Included an Outdoor Patio, A Game Court and A Wood-Burning Oven Which Brought Back Locally Missed Whole-Wheat Pizza From A Saffron Sister Restaurant Into the Daily Menu.
