Though it started as the Seattle Theatre with 3,000 seats in the late 1920s featuring silent films and talkies, Seattle’s Paramount Theatre of today is a glorious 2,807-seat performing arts venue. As of October 9, 1974, the Paramount Theatre is on the National Register of Historic Places. It’s also one of Seattle’s most notable, long-standing landmarks.
