Living in Ethiopia and not knowing anything at first, made it seem to me as if it would be a breeze, little did I know that failure was coming soon. I gave up at first because most westerners’ business models was nowhere near to be effective in a third world country where businesses can care less about social media to increase their profit. Even if you did raise good points that gained their attention, it wouldn’t benefit me since they can’t afford my services. (Think about it, $1 = 27 Ethiopian Birr + 200% on Taxes)… It’s hard to get paid in dollars especially if you come from where I live where the exchange rates aren’t suitable for the business owners. You had to reach the very rich people if I wanted to get paid 6-figures, and to reach them seemed almost impossible. I had no clue what to do.
