How often should I get my carpets cleaned?

This depends on how busy your home is and how much traffic it gets. When there is more activity and more daily wear from kids and pets, professional carpet cleaning twice a year is recommended. You may need a third cleaning of just high traffic areas to keep carpets maintained and in good condition. If it is just you and your spouse, and you take your shoes off, then once a year is appropriate. When you call to schedule your appointment, we will ask a few questions about your cleaning needs. Pet Odor issues?

We love our pets, but occasionally there can be "accidents." Cats have a more intense enzyme in their urine than dogs, and cat urine can be more of a challenge to remove. Always avoid putting water on a urine stain to prevent spreading of the stain. Cleaning removes pet dander, allergens and bacteria from carpet and upholstery. Pet stains can be deeper than just the carpet, they could also be in the padding or floor underneath. This is why the process for removing pet stains or pet odors will differ. Each situation may require a different process. Our trained technicians can discuss with you what process would work best with your particular situation. Just because we remove the pet stains, it does not remove the bacteria in the carpet! Using a neutralizer to kill the bacteria is required to better manage pet odors.
