      Yoga and Nidra is a powerful ancient mediation and self inquiry technique. Yoga NIdra literally means Yogic sleep but is also referred to as dynamic sleep. Although you are seemingly passive, important spiritual work can be accomplished. The mind is in a state between sleep and wakefulness and its receptivity is many times more than its receptivity in a wakeful state. Since Yoga Nidra is a state of mind between wakefulness and dream the practitioner can train themselves to attain a state of profound mental calmness, beyond the normal ups and downs of life. During Yoga Nidra, the body and mind are completely relaxed and the subconscious and unconscious mind rise to the foreground, while the conscious mind takes a backseat. So, although the content of Yoga Nidra is very similar to that of a guided meditation it is really the state of relaxed awareness of the practitioner that makes the practice what it is. The practice of Yoga Nidra also has many health-related benefits including relief of stress (physically, mentally, and emotionally), stress related disorder, hypertension, depression, insomnia, trauma, and anxiety. When sincerely practicing Yoga Nidra you are fully present and able to leave the chatter of your everyday mind behind. This can help you to learn to embrace life exactly as it is. Yoga Nidra helps us to understand and learn to embrace every experience and emotion that arises in your life, without trying to push anything away.

    • 9:30 Gentle Yoga w/Sam

      Gentle Yoga This class will help get rid of stiff, creaky joints & start moving more efficiently by developing a more supple & resilient body. Restriction & tension throughout the body can be released by holding postures from 1-3 minutes with the use of mindful breathing. Strengthening postures for the stomach & back will be repeated & held for a shorter duration of time. Props such as blocks, blankets & straps can be used as an aid in class. Gentle Yoga is a great starting yoga class, but also beneficial for the advanced practitioner for deepening their postures and looking inward.

One-on-One Corrective Work and P-DTR

  • One-on-One PDTR Sessions

    P-DTR is a unique neurological therapy based on neurology, biomechanics, neurophysiology, anatomy and profound research. It works directly with Central Nervous System and has a logical scientific explanation for all of its teachings. Under the guidance of Dr. Jose Palomar (founder) P-DTR is constantly being researched, and the scope of practical application of its unique material is being expanded on a yearly basis. Put simply, P-DTR is the practical application of theoretical neurology. The inspiration and source material for this technique is drawn primarily from a profound understanding of neuroanatomy, physiology and orthopaedics. All of the information that is delivered as part of our practitioners educational journey can be found in any neurology, physiology or orthopaedic textbook anywhere in the world. The difference is that P-DTR training will enable our practitioners to understand exactly how to interact with all of the neurological theory in each and every person that they treat. The textbook knowledge becomes immediately applicable to each person being assessed and treated using P-DTR which enables both practitioner and patient to see neurology acting and adapting in real time.

    • 30 min P-DTR session

      Sometimes you don't need a full hour. $35 for 30 minutes. People are having difficulty with wearing masks. I can help clear some dysfunction the mask is creating so it's easier to wear you mask.

      Regular price is $90 Sometimes we simply need some tune-ups or what I like to call 'cleaning out the junk drawer' So very helpful for releasing those annoying little pains that do alter our activities or daily routine. It is about a 45 min session doing corrections and about 10 minutes of giving you a corrective exercise.

It's been going on long enough the issue at hand needs more corrective work. The next two sessions will be a combination of P-DTR corrections along with teaching corrective movements, stretches or exercise.
