Rijstafel Van Batavia

(for 4 people). steamed rice with 6 dishes served family style: orak-arik tempe tahu - tempe & tofu in sweet soy sauce., lodeh - mixed vegetables and tofu in white curry. telor balado - eggs with sweet red sauce, bakwan jagung - corn fritters, and a choice of 2 of the following: chicken: ayam goreng kalasan - javanese fried chicken, curry ayam - chicken in yellow curry, beef: rendang - slow-cooked beef in red curry, empal goreng - javanese style sweet fried beef, vegetarian: pepes tahu - steamed tofu wrapped in banana leaf.
