Enders Island Has Three Primary Ministries: St. Edmund's Retreat Featuring A Bed & Breakfast, Private Retreats, and an Extensive Array of Programs Open To People of All Faiths: Speaker Series, Days of Recollection; Day, Weekend, and Week-Long Retreats for Men, Women, Clergy, Married Couples, and A Variety of Special Interest Groups. Bereavement Programs Are Also Available Throughout the Year for Those Mourning the Death of A Loved One. the Sacred Art Institute Offering Week-Long Residency Workshops in Iconography, Illumination, Calligraphy, Stained Glass, and Sacred Music Among Others. All Sacred Art Workshops Feature Highly Skilled Instructors and Can Be Taken for College Credit Through Holy Apostles College in Cromwell, CT. the Recovery Ministry Featuring Weekly 12-Step Meetings At Fr. Joe's Place, A Recovery Residence for College-Aged Men, and A Satellite Office of the Catholicpsych Institute. Every Year, 11th Step Recovery Retreats Are Offered for Men and Women Seeking To Improve Their Conscious Contact With God Through Prayer and Meditation. Enders Island Welcomes Everyone To Enjoy the Grounds Whether or Not They Are Participating in A Program. the Island Provides All Visitors the Opportunity To Come and Enjoy the Beauty of Nature in A Unique Environment Where People of All Faith Backgrounds Have Profoundly Encountered A Higher Power. All Are Welcome To Attend Mass in the Chapel of Our Lady of the Assumption Each and Every Morning At 9 Am. Our Offices Are Open From 8:30 Am To 4:30 Pm On Monday - Friday and From 9 Am To 3 Pm On Saturday.
