He is also a physician for the United States Ski Team. He Travels with the team to international meets to help treat the injured professional athletes. He was also one of the team physicians for the Utah Flash from 2009 to 2011. He specializes in the treatment of sports injuries, and in shoulder and knee reconstructive surgery. He is one of only three orthopaedic surgeons in Utah County board certified in orthopaedic sports medicine is currently chairman of the orthopaedic department at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center.
