About Darlene Davis, DDS:

Dr. Davis was born in Chicago and raised in Oak Park, Illinois. She always knew that she would leave her birthplace and family to find her place in the world. Cold weather was not for her and she moved to gain a higher education in the south. She attended and received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee, graduating at the top of her class. Following dental school, she then completed a one year General Practice Residency (GPR) program at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Miami Beach, Florida. Within this training program, Dr. Davis successfully completed training in Hospital Dentistry, Emergency Medicine, Oral Surgery, Plastic surgery, Anesthesiology and Internal Medicine. Early in her career, Dr. Davis practiced for several years in the Atlanta area and established herself as a reputable general practitioner. Striving to further improve her knowledge, she then pursued advanced specialty training at The University of Southern California School of Dentistry where she earned a Specialty Certificate in Endodontics. For twenty years now Dr. Davis has been practicing Dentistry and continues to provide cutting-edge dental care and sedation to comfort her patients. Learning is a lifetime passion thus each year she furthers her knowledge through hundreds of hours of continuing education. Her memberships in organized Dentistry includes participation with the American Association of Endodontics, American Dental Association and the Georgia Dental Association. Dr. Davis has a heart for philanthropy and in her free time, she enjoys giving back to the community by volunteering with “Dentistry from the Heart” which provides free care for indigent patients. Additionally, it has been an honor for her to care for our Military Reserve Service Members one weekend a month at Dobbins AFB. An avid traveler, She has circled the globe having visited 10 countries and still counting. When home, she enjoys attending Mt. Paran Church, rescuing dogs, football season, hiking in the North Georgia mountains, and spending time with her family.
