Baxter's Gourmet Catering was established in 1993, in Cumberland - MD - Allegany County and is a business specialized in serving awesome food. Off premise catering in Allegany County Maryland and the surrounding areas. Baxter's Gourmet offers something for everyone. We can cater engagement parties, bridal luncheons, rehearsal dinners, weddings, custom designed wedding cakes & gourmet dessert buffet tables and everything in between! At Baxter’s we use the freshest and best ingredients. Our salads are made with red or green leaf lettuce, not iceburg, fresh vegetables and homemade dressings. Pecan Tarragon Chicken Salad: breast of chicken with fresh tarragon and toasted pecans served on homemade lemon poppy seed mini muffins. Smoked Salmon thin layers of salmon on a bed tray with capers, red onion, raifort sauce and a basket of our homemade rye, current & pecan bread. Cheese tortes, not ordinary cheese cubes or cheese balls. Stilton Walnut layers of cream cheese and port wine topped with crumbled stilton and toasted walnuts, made up in a cheesecake pan for a lovely presentation, or a wheel of brie topped with edible flowers. We often hear comments like "this is almost too pretty to eat!" Antipasto Platter: Genoa salami, pepperoni, provolone, marinated artichoke hearts, mozzarella, mushrooms, roasted red pepper, kalamata olives with a basket of French bread. Details, they really do make a difference and we pay attention to the details so that your party food will look as great as it tastes!!! Whether you choose to have a group of parties or just concentrate on the wedding, Baxter’s can help!
