Booze Guitar Beginner I

This 8 week introductory group guitar class is designed for students with no prior guitar experience. Starting with the very basics, this class is designed to equip adult beginners with basic guitar playing skills, a basic vocabulary of chords, an elementary knowledge of musical notation in preparation for music and lead sheet reading in later classes, and a memorized piece of music which will be performed at the Bantam Studios adult recital at the end of the session. Repertoire will be chosen from the American folk and blues traditions. Students will also gain an expanded knowledge of notable guitarists, genres and styles through listening to recordings of each week at class. The course will give students a basic understanding of guitar playing and will prepare them for future study in a group or private lesson setting

Booze Guitar Advanced

This 8 week Advanced group guitar class will build off of the intermediate skills that students have acquired in the Intermediate Booze Guitar class.
