About Advanced Endodontics of Buffalo:
Dr. Hatim Hamad is dedicated to providing patients with the best treatment possible. To assist in diagnoses and contribute to a healthier, happier community, Advanced Endodontics of Buffalo is among the first in the local area to add a CS 8100 3D extraoral imaging system to its office. The system captures highly detailed 3D radiographs, or X-rays. These true-to-life 3D images help Dr. Hamad provide quicker and more accurate diagnoses; improved treatment planning; and better patient care. Plus, the CS 8100 3D provides more services in-office, reducing Dr. Hamad’s need to refer patients to outside imaging centers, meaning fewer visits and faster treatment. The unit also has the capability of capturing 2D panoramic images and scanning patients’ dental impressions or plaster models to create high precision 3D digital models of teeth. Dr. Hamad is a California native who grew up in Los Angeles. He attended Glendale High School and Graduated with a B.S. in Biology from Cairo University in 1994. He received his D.D.S from the State University at Buffalo School of Dentistry in 1999, and was subsequently commissioned as an Officer in the U. S. Navy. His first duty station was Norfolk, VA where he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry. He then transferred to NTC Great Lake, Illinois where he spent three years as part of the Great Lakes training facility Endodontic Department. After his tutelage from seven Endodontist in Great Lakes, Dr. Hamad received his Certificate in Endodontics from the Naval Postgraduate Dental School, in Bethesda, MD, and received a Master's Degree in Health Sciences from The George Washington University, in Washington, D.C. He subsequently served as the Endodontics Department Head, Groton Submarine Base in Groton, CT. Dr. Hamad currently works as a part time clinical associate professor for the endodontic department at the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine.
