The Benefits of Recreational Trails

As a designer and a runner, my favorite kinds of projects are recreational trails. Trails are destinations; places that people go to for recreation, exercise, and enjoyment with friends and family. Trails are also an important component to encouraging active transportation. We so often take our cars to go places when we could walk or ride, benefiting ourselves and our environment!
