    The Westside Junior Golf Tour is an exiting new tournament series for junior golfers, ages 5-17! Tournaments and workshops take place on the fourth Sunday of every month, allowing young golfers to consistently build skill and confidence with fun, age-appropriate competition.

    Our camps are a great way for kids and teens to enjoy the game of golf, while at the same time picking up on solid swing fundamentals. Camps are held seasonally (spring, summer, winter) at the Rancho Park Golf Course Par-3 (10460 W. Pico Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90064). Please see the "Upcoming Events" tab for dates.

  Hone your golf skills under the tutelage of Derrick Allen. An experienced professional golf instructor and head golf pro at Rancho Park Golf Course, Derrick Allen offers private lessons for both adults and children. Costing $130 per 1 hour session for adults, and $65 per half hour session for children. Classes cover a variety of topics including:

  • Chipping

  • Putting

  • Sandshots

  • Playing Rancho Park's 18 hole course or their 9 hole par 3 course

  • Video Analysis of your swing

  • Course Management

  • Golf Rules & Etiquette

• About the Instructor

  • A golf pro since 1987

    A golf pro since 1987, Derrick Allen instructs both children and adults at Rancho Park Golf Course in golf skills, course management, rules and etiquette.

  • He founded and serves as president to Alan Pacific Group

    He founded and serves as president to Alan Pacific Group, a sports camp and special events company featuring activities in golf, slot car racing, and flight stimulation.

  • In the past

    In the past Derrick served as head coach for both the Crossroads School and Marymount High School varsity golf teams.
