• Cleaning Process

  Steps taken in your carpet cleaning job:

  • Prepare the rooms that you wish to have cleaned.

    What you need to do is pick up all loose or small items that are on these areas; You should take any breakables off the furniture you want moved; When the crew arrives give them a tour of these areas and point out any bad spots or soiled areas you want us to pay special attention too.

  • The crew will then measure each room and give you an exact price for your cleaning.

  • Then they will start by vacuuming all the open areas in each room.

  • After that they will move, the moveable furniture into the open areas and vacuum where the furniture would normally sit.

  • At this point we will hand clean around all the baseboards, door- jams, cabinets, or furniture not being moved. (We Don't Cut Corners We Clean Them!)

  • Then we will clean the carpets with the Dry-Foam Method, starting where the furniture usually sits.

    After we rake the nap of the carpet back up to a fluffy state, we will replace the furniture on blocks or protective pads.

  • Finally we will clean and rake all the open areas. The whole process is quick and most jobs can be done in about 2 hours.

• Furniture Cleaning

  The Dry-Foam Method we use on carpets was originally developed as a shampoo for furniture cleaning because of its "no residue" method. With no film or chemical left and the low amount of water used to activate the foam, it is the best system for furniture cleaning.

  • The first thing we do is apply the foam only to the fabric with a brush or by hand depending on the fabric.

  • Then using a portable steam cleaner as an extractor only we go over the entire piece extracting all soils, oils, and as much moisture as possible.

  • The drying time on most furniture is 2-4 hours depending on how soiled it may have been and the air circulation in the room.

• Odor Control

  • Carpet Deodorizing

    Carpet deodorizing and odor control are very important issues to carpet care and are two separate things. Carpet deodorizers are fragrances applied during the carpet cleaning process with various scents, like cinnamon, lemon, potpourri, spearmint, and cherry are among some of the different deodorizers that are available. They leave carpets with a pleasant scent, but if there are odor issues, these would only mask the problem but we do have products available to control the problems. Odor is caused by fungus or bacteria left behind by pets, food products, or mold around toilets, showers, or moist areas. Just basic cleaning will not eliminate this problem.

  • Odor Control

    We us a product by Zep manufacturing called "Odorstroyer". It's a heavy-duty spotter and deodorizer, formulated especially for removing spots from pet urine and other animal waste, along with mildew and organic odors, from vomit to spilled milk. "Odorstroyer" is designed to attack and feed on the bacteria that produce unpleasant odors. When there is no bacteria or fungus left, then it dies out and your odors are gone.

  • Dryer Vent Cleaning - Step by Step

    Technician removes and cleans lint trap. Technician takes the measurement of airflow using an air flow meter at the exterior dryer vent. The back of the dryer is topically cleaned, as this is where lint can accumulate. The dryer vent and flexible ducting from the wall are visually inspected using a video inspection system. The HEPA vacuum system is connected to the dryer vent duct. The dryer duct auger is run through the duct to remove any blockages. Airflow is measured again to gauge improvement before and after cleaning. The video inspection system is used again for post cleaning inspection.

Dry Foam

• Different Carpet Cleaning Methods

  There are many different carpet cleaning methods on the market today, shampoo, chemical cleanings, steam (also known as hot-water extraction), and dry-foam. Dry-foam is endorsed by a well known national testing institute and excelled in all three testing categories:

  • Dry Time

    Dry-foam uses the least amount of water compared to all other methods, so the dry time is anywhere from 3 to 6 hours, depending on air circulations in your home.

  • Soil Removal

    Dry-foam cleaning with pre-vacuuming is 20% more effective than all other systems.

  • Resoil Time

    Resoil time is the length of time between cleanings. Dry-foam, comparatively, gives you 12 to 18 months (with normal traffic) between cleanings which is nearly four months longer than with other methods.

  • As the picture above shows we use a rotary scrubber.

    The system itself is much like a shampoo method, but unlike shampoo cleaning, Dry-foam does not leave a chemical or detergent residue behind.

  • Therefore nothing is left to attract new soil or cause matting of the carpet fibers.

    When carpets are fluffy, not matted, you can vacuum out more dust and dirt on a day to day basis, which is why you can go longer between cleanings.
