    Stone Canyon: Named one of the Top 3 Public Courses in Missouri 2012 by Golf Magazine Stone Canyon Golf Club's 18-hole layout provides guests a truly memorable golf challenge with Greg Norman's signature design traits, including closely mown green surrounds and creative bunkering and landscape accents that pay homage to some of the great courses in the world. The dramatic layout traverses rolling and rugged terrain with interesting rock outcroppings and several spectacular vistas of downtown Kansas City to the west. Stone Canyon Golf Club serves as the centerpiece of a 300 acre development project in eastern Independence, Missouri and has become an environmental model for landfill reclamation.
