  • Drop Spindle Spinning

    Shara our expert spinner is back this fall teaching yarn spinning. This introductory class with teach you how to prepare, draft and spin yarn manually using a drop spindle. You will experiment with several different types of wool roving. Drop spindle and wool roving are included.

  • Afterschool Novice Knitting

    We invite you to join us for weekly beginning knitting classes after school. We offer sliding start times based on when your school gets out. Each weekly class is one-hour starting when you are able to arrive. Adults are welcome to take classes with their children.

    We invite you to join us for weekly beginning crochet classes. Learn the basic crochet stitches; chain stitch, single crochet, double crochet, half-double crochet triple crochet.

  • Basics of Blocking

    All the pattern peices are stitched, ends are woven in, and now I'm supposed to do what, block? Blocking provides handknits with that extra bit of polish that elevates the finished product.

  • Novice Knit II

    If you have taken the beginning knitting class but aren't quite ready for hats or felted purses then this is the class for you. Learn to combine knit and purl stitches to make patterns. Learn necessary skills to start working with patterns; increase, decrease, yarn over, slip stitch etc.
