• The Pillowcase Challenge

  • As many of you know, I have joined the American Patchwork & Quilting Magazine's 1 Million Pillowcase Challenge

    Make a Pillowcase, Make a Difference. Throughout the entire year I'll be collecting pillowcases to be donated locally to a charity of our choice, including shelters, nursing homes, children's hospitals, and more. The pillowcases you make will be used right here in our community, and we're accepting pillowcases for any age group.   • Are you tired of spending so much time cutting out patterns with your rotary cutter?

    Use my AccuCut! The AccuCut is a very accurate way to cut many patterns, such as 2.5" strips (perfect for Jelly Rolls), 5" squares (make your own Charm Pack!), and even the tumbler blocks! Are you looking to whip up a quick quilt? Use the AccuCut to cut out the blocks for the Quick as a Wink quilt pattern! You can even cut out a rag quilt with the fringe already cut! Even cut the batting squares!

  • Your membership includes instruction on using the machine, and the use of all of the templates.

  • Did you know that you can also cut applique shapes on the AccuCut?

    Well, you can! And the best part is that you can iron the Steam-A-Seam (or fusible webbing of your choice) to the back of the fabric BEFORE you cut out the shapes, making fusible and machine applique absolutely painless! I have a dragonfly, butterfly, flower pot, flowers, ladybug, and much more. I even have a cat - think Halloween!
