My First Acting Class
A creative introduction to the land of purposeful make-believe, where children learn to take situations and make them real without a script (improvising). They are presented with the very basics of how TV, film, and stage work - with actors, who have been given a part to play through the process of an audition. Children develop their own monologue based on their own experience to deliver alone to an invited audience by the end of the year. Prerequisites: while reading skills are helpful, they are not 100 percent necessary. Children should know "right" and "left"
Acting Improv 101
This class allows the student to release the creative juices in a fun and judgment-free environment through games and teamwork. No reading or memorization required! Improvisation is a proven self-confidence builder, while greatly enhancing problem-solving skills!
Teen Singing + Acting
Students gain poise and confidence in this fun-filled introduction to the techniques of singing and acting for the stage! Students learn group improvisation exercises, stage vocabulary, stage directions, and beginning vocal warm-ups for speaking and singing
Advanced Monologue and Scene Study
For the seasoned student by audition or invitation only. Students delve deeply into script and character while working on monologues and scenes of the great playwrights, from Shakespeare to Ibsen and Mamet. Prospective students should prepare 2 brief contrasting monologues and bring a resume and headshot or large snapshot
Singing + Acting I

Morning Arts Conservatory (MAC)
MAC is a fulfilling daytime program for boys and girls age 3-6. Students explore their imaginations through Dance, Theatre, Art and Creative Expression while mom or dad takes a fitness class at PCS, or simply enjoys extra time!
Singing + Acting III
For students who have completed S&A II, this class includes beginning scene study class in which students learn to beak down a script to develop character, a Point of View, and subtext. Students study basic music theory and ear training, as well as sight reading and audition techniques
Pre Tap
Ages 6 – 7 Classes are designed to develop rhythm, style and sound. Students will learn a variety of tap styles from Broadway to Rhythm tap. Exercises focus on building flexibility of the knee and ankles, coordination, and speed of movement. The class emphasis is on developing proper tap technique, producing clear tap sounds, and having fun

As always, The Dallas Conservatory (TDC) has assembled the most astounding collection of STAR dancers/choreographers/teachers under one roof in America. Teaching is hands-on, with lots of personal correction in boutique classes of 26 dancers or less. Our signature dance intensive is for ages 10-26 by audition only. Dancers not accepted will be given priority placement in The Dallas Conservatory's Preparatory Intensive
