Note that varying degrees of pressure will be applied differently throughout and this session. The right and left side of ourselves are often unbalanced and rarely does a body need the same treatment on one side as was given to the other. Each present session differs from the past.

Deep Tissue Massage

1 Hour Appointment: 90-minute session; Relieve pain; Customized for individual needs; Multiple massage techniques; Relieve severe tension; Target specific problem areas; Loosen knots to improve flexibility; Direct deep pressure applied to sore muscles; This medically-oriented form of massage uses deep tissue and trigger point massage techniques to address tender muscles points, circulation, nerve compression, postural issues, and biomechanical problems that can be caused by repetitive movement injuries. Deliberate, slow strokes work to penetrate the deeper layers of muscles, tendons, or other tissues deep under your skin. With more of a therapeutic goal this massage is less rhythmic than those styles aimed at relaxation. Some benefits of Deep tissue/Trigger point include: relieving chronic patterns of tension. helping with muscle injuries, (such as back sprain, tendonitis, TMJ, neck pain, ect.)Increase joint flexibility. Promote tissue regeneration, reducing scar tissue and stretch marks. Reduce postsurgery adhesions and swelling. Reduce spasms and cramping. Relax and soften injured, tired, and overused muscles. Relieve migraine pain.
