The private session is ideal for the student who is ready to focus and cocreate the ways and means to expand their consciousness and grow into new strength and health mentally, physically and spiritually.

Pre-Natal Yoga classes provide an intimate and calm environment in which the mother-to-be can sustain good health of body, mind and spirit during her pregnancy and also prepare for labor and birth.
Yoga breathing and safe, gentle stretching combined with visualization and deep relaxation, supports the pregnant woman in developing inner clarity and confidence. As body and mind attune in a state of alert inner focus, inner peace is realized.
I always strive to convey to my Pre-Natal students the importance of being in a relationship of loving kindness and patience with themselves.
Learning the value of caring for themselves and staying connected to their Intuitive Center, which is a foundational aspect of yoga, is a blessing they give to themselves, their children and loved ones. For many students, class may be one of the only opportunities they have for down time and quiet; a chance to unwind and slow down, while gaining new and useful skills.
The felt sense of community in Pre-Natal class offers a safe haven where women can share and learn from each other, as well.
Many friendships have begun here, that may bring an added richness to enjoy beyond class time.
Reiki: The Universal Life Energy
Reiki is a Japanese word representing Universal Life Energy, which is the intelligent life force which is all around us. Reiki sessions are about 1 1/2 hrs long. During this treatment, both the recipient and the practitioner, experience a well-being and relaxation which is of deep comfort. As the Reiki worker lays hands, the healing energy available from the Universe helps the body/mind to rejuvenate and recover, and experience a sense of being deeply bathed in nutrients of peace. It assists the individual to release toxins and energy blocks which can lead to disease and reestablish a state of balance and harmony.

o fill out by your Ayurvedic Practitioner that she will analyze in order to determine your elemental constitutional type, Vata, Pitta or Kapha. The preponderance of these elements, Vata---Space and Air, Pitta---Fire and Water, Kapha---Water and Earth will give the underlying template upon which your unique bodymind (Prakriti) is created and from which it can be expertly analyzed by your consultant.
DURING THE INITIAL INTERVIEW
along with the questionnaire, you will be asked about your basic health concerns and issues as well as your daily routines of lifestyle, diet, work, talents, hobbies, practices, and your medical history. The Ayurvedic pulse diagnosis and tongue diagnosis is also taken to provide the Ayurvedic Practitioner with a complete picture that will reveal your physical, mental and spiritual strengths and give valuable information as to any imbalances (Vikruti) and their sources.
RECOMMENDATIONS
may include suggestions for simple changes that can improve conditions related to indigestion, insomnia, poor circulation, inability to concentrate, weight-loss issues, menstrual or menopause issues for women, skin conditions, and long-standing chronic complaints, etc. All recommendations are based upon the basic premise that we are each a uniquely perfect being for whom hope is always possible through gentle, simple and incremental changes, in accordance with our true nature.
