  • Welcome to Wayzata's own Five Swans!

  • Wayzata is a community rich in history and tradition as evidenced by the Historic Train Depot located on the Wayzata Bay shores of Lake Minnetonka.

    Five Swans sits across from the Depot and has enjoyed over 45 years of business on the west end of Main Street. We relocated to a new building in the summer of 2011, just two doors down from our previous location. It is a beautiful new home for us!

    Our products are traditional, elegant, fresh, unique, fun and vary with the seasons, trends and customer preferences. We guarantee that you'll be able to find the perfect gift for any occasion.

  Visit Five Swans in downtown Wayzata to create your bridal registry and begin preparing for your new life! For 45 years Five Swans has assisted brides and grooms in furnishing their new homes. Our registry specialist, Pam Witcher, is a wealth of knowledge in all of the necessities, including:

    We are Ambassadors for Garnier Thiebaut. A sample book of every cloth is now in our store. Stop in and browse! From casual to formal to fine French linens, we have something to make your table look spectacular for any occasion.

  • Dinnerware

    From casual to dressy, we have choices for any occasion. We are always happy to try to accommodate special orders and have access to many things you may not see in our store.

  • Flatware

    Flatware may be available in boxed sets, or place setting by special order. Please call 952-473-4685 to inquire.

  • Serveware

    Five Swans carries a vast line of beautiful serveware for any occasion. Our serveware will make stunning additions to dining table as well as making memorable gift selections.

  • Housewares

    From casual to formal, we carry quality brand housewares that deliver style and functionality to any kitchen. We are always happy to try to accommodate special orders and have access to many things you may not see in our store.

  Pam and the rest of our team will help you develop a balanced registry that guests can use for both shower and wedding gift purchases. We encourage a wide selection of merchandise in a range of prices that will allow us to add our personal expertise when helping your guest purchase the perfect gift for your special event. To make shopping a relaxed, pleasant experience for you and your guests, we offer the following services:

  • Personalized appointment with our bridal registry expert.

  • Receive a gift card after your wedding with 10% of the total of gifts purchased by your guests!

  • Link to your registry from our website.

  • 10% discount for couples to complete patterns of china, crystal, and flatware for one year after wedding.

  • 10% discount on attendants gifts.

  • Convenient gift wrapping.

  • Shipping services, if necessary.

    We also can give your guests the option to leave gifts at Five Swans, we will notify you of gifts as they are purchased. You can pick them up at your convenience and save your guests the hassle of shipping charges or bringing the gift to the wedding.

  • Refer a couple to Five Swans and receive a $30 gift card for yourself when they register.

  The Lake Minnetonka specialty items are truly unique, not only because they are about this wonderful area, but many are artisan made pieces.

  • Lake Minnetonka Blanket

    48"x 69", 3-ply cotton blanket made exclusively for the Five Swans. It shows a map of the lake highlighting landmarks. Machine washable.

  • Coasters

    Laser engraved, made of slate or marble and feature individual bays on Lake Minnetonka. Historical landmarks of the area, and upon request can be customized for your favorite lake by a local artist!

  • Photo Albums and Picture Frames

    Laser engraved, made of alderwood and are engraved with maps and historical photos to your special Lake memories.

  • Lake Minnetonka Trays

    Made by a local artist. These trays feature a watercolor map of Lake Minnetonka and are sealed in glass. They can be customized to mark your home on the Lake or your favorite landmark, as well as your choice of black or white wooden frames and fish or rope handles.
