    The par 72 Eagle Chase Golf Club, located in Marshville, NC, stands as one of the most unique golf courses in the Greater Charlotte area. Eagle Chase's layout features drastic elevation changes on several holes, giving players a mountain golfing experience, a couple of hours east of the Appalachian Mountains. Built in 1994, Eagle Chase is situated in northern Union County, just to the east of Charlotte. The course's green complexes require a variety of shots, as they sit both down in valleys and atop hills. Many of the tee boxes are elevated and offer picturesque views of the Uwharries in the distance.
