  • Weaving Beginner / Intermediate

    Students will learn the entire weaving process. Using our Design Center looms, learn how to plan and measure your warp, sley the reed and dress the loom. You will complete your project and sample different weave structures. You can choose to weave a scarf or a table runner.

    4-Shaft weaving for beginners. Students will learn the entire weaving process. Using our Design Center looms, learn how to plan and measure your warp, sley the reed and dress the loom.   • Felt Hat Workshop

    Each student will design and make their own felted hat on a three-dimensional form. This is not a knit and shrink technique! We are exploring traditional wet felting methods using un-spun, loose fiber to create the base of the hat which allow us to include different surface design elements inlaid within the structure.

  • Sewing: Beginner Recycled Sweater, Hats and Mittens

    Kids (and grown-ups, too!) are invited to join us for a fun learning opportunity in sewing and pattern use while they work on a project they'll be proud to give to someone special. Attendees will learn how to layout a pattern, cut the pieces and hand sew them together using fun yarn and a hand needle. Fanciful, fun hats are the outcome.

  • Weaving 4 Shaft Start Here

    4-Shaft weaving for beginners. Students will learn the entire weaving process including project planning. Using our Design Center looms, learn how to plan and measure your warp (lengthwise threads that are dressed on the loom), sley the reed (threading) and front to back (F2B) loom set-up.
