  • Lasers work by concentrating heat on the darkened hair follicle. Our lasers are highly advanced and effective for use on all skin types, including those with darker pigmentation.

  • Multiple treatments are required, due to the variance in hair growth cycles. Hair must be in an active growth phase at the time of treatment.

  • Laser hair removal is a process that takes 6 to 8 sessions performed 6 to 8 weeks apart depending on the area treated.

• FAQs

  • Are there risks involved with laser hair removal?

    Laser hair removal is a low risk procedure (sometimes called a lunchtimeprocedure) and no down time is required. Mild redness in the treated area may occur for several hours; however, patients can return to work or play immediately.

  • Is the laser painful?

    Often compared to a rubber band snap against the skin, it is generally agreed to be less painful than waxing. Please note that certain areas, such as bikini line or wherever hair is very coarse, can be more uncomfortable. Our technicians will direct you on the proper use of topical anesthetics, prior to your treatment.

  • What happens after laser hair removal?

    Redness and swelling around the treated hair follicles will typically resolve several hours. Hair from the treated areas will shed over the following ten to fifteen days (not to be mistaken for new growth, which you will see just before your next treatment is due).

  • Can I wax or bleach in between treatments?

    No waxing or bleaching; however, shaving is allowed between treatments. Always stop shaving the area to be treated at least 2 days before your appointment.

  • Can I go out in the sun?

    No tanning or sun exposure for 2 weeks before your treatment, or 1 week after.

  • How often do I need laser treatments?

    To permanently deaden follicles, a face laser should be repeated every 6 to 8 weeks, chest or back every 8 weeks, and arms or legs every 10 weeks.

  • Can I get laser hair removal if I have dark skin?

    YES! The type of laser we use is absolutely safe for darker skin tones.

  • Can I get laser hair removal if I have blond hair?

    Not at this time. Laser technology works by directing a beam of light at the hair follicle, which is then absorbed by the dark pigment in the hair follicle. Blond, red or gray hair will not absorb sufficiently therefore, treatments will be less effective.

• Keratin Treatment Questions and Answers

  • Should I cut my hair before the treatment?

    You can trim or shape around face or length. Layered hair freshly cut might lay too blunt after treatment. Hair clips should not be used right after treatment. You can go through haircut and trim off any uneven ends if needed.

  • Is this treatment a relaxer?

    No. It is a reconditioning treatment made of keratin, plant extracts and collagen that are sealed in to and on to the hair.

  • Can I wash my hair after the treatment, and when?

    Wait 24 hours after the Traditional Royal Keratin treatment, and wait 48 hours after the Mild Royal Keratin treatment before washing.

  • What kind of shampoo or conditioner should I use?

    We recommend KERATIN SKIN SENSATION shampoo because it does not contain Sodium Chloride, or Sulfates it also has Keratin and UV protection. All shampoo and conditioner should not contain Sodium Chloride.

  • What should I do if my hair gets wet during the first 1 - 2 Days?

    Blow dries the hair as quickly as possible.

  • Can I go into a pool or the ocean after the treatment?

    Wait 1 week. Always wet hair and apply conditioner before swimming, and rinse well afterward.

  • Can I wear my hair in a pony tail or wear a tie in my hair?

  What is Mikveh? A Mikveh is a purifying and cleansing ritual, exclusively for Orthodox Jewish women. The Mikveh relates to the holy act of sex under God's Law.

  • The Hebrew word Mikveh means a gathering of water.

    At first glance, a Mikveh looks like a small swimming pool. However, if you look closely you will see a small hole, two or three inches in diameter, just below the waterline of the pool.

  • While this hole may appear insignificant, it gives the pool status as a Mikveh.

  • Just opposite the small hole you will notice a removable cover, over a pit.

  Our exclusive formula contains only the safest ingredients (including DHA, a sugarcane derivative safely used in self tanners since the early 1960s). Unlike the iodinetinted orange faux tans of old, our formula allows for a natural looking glow without the damage of UVA and UVB rays.

• Instructions Before Your Tan

  • Remove all unwanted body hair

  • Exfoliate before your appointment with a mild, oilfree solution

  • Shower, but do not apply any oils or moisturizer to skin unless you experience severe dry patches

  • Wear dark, loose fitting, preferably cotton clothing to avoid excess contact or staining fabric

  • Flipflops or slip on sandals are advised

  • Please arrive 15 minutes early so that you can properly prepare for your appointment
