• Brooklyn Bridge Bike Ride

  Duration: 3 hours; $50; See lower Manhattan from the vantage point of two wheels! Pedal on a traffic free bike path along the Hudson River as you follow your expert local guide past famous landmarks and all the way over the Brooklyn Bridge -- the largest suspension bridge in the world when it was built! See Hudson River Park, Battery Park, Wall Street, the Statue of Liberty, examples of Manhattan's oldest and newest architecture, and all of Lower Manhattan from atop the bridge. And be sure to bring your camera -- there are great views in every direction!

    This activity is of moderate difficulty with challenging areas. The ride will cover 17 miles and last approximately 3 hours.

• Bike the Brooklyn Bridge

  Duration: 3 hours; $50; Lower Manhattan just looks cooler from a bike! Pedal on a traffic-free bike path along the Hudson River with fellow cyclists past famous landmarks and all the way over the Brooklyn Bridge -- the largest suspension bridge in the world when it was built! This fun and flexible tour is what you make of it. For a quick trip, you can ride out to the middle, snap some photos, and come back. Or take a longer route and loop between the Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan Bridge! From your vantage points, you'll see Hudson River Park, Battery Park, Wall Street, the Statue of Liberty, examples of Manhattan's oldest and newest architecture, and all of Lower Manhattan. Be sure to bring your camera -- there are great views in every direction!

Guided Bike Tours

Terms and Conditions: Please call Bike and Roll NYC (212-260-0400) at least 48 hours ahead of your tour date to confirm your reservation and to provide height information in order to receive the correct-sized bike(s). On the day of your tour, bring your printed voucher(s) and photo identification to the tour departure location. Trailer carriages, trailer tandems, and child seats available for children at the child rate. Tours may be cancelled if the weather makes for dangerous riding conditions. If we are unable to reschedule the tour, we will issue a full credit or refund.

    Riding Distance: 6 miles; Duration: 2 hours; Price - Includes: Comfort hybrid bike rental, helmet, and bottled water Excludes: Gratuity; Departure Time(s): 08:30am - Check-in at 08:15am, 10:30am - Check-in at 10:15am, 01:30pm - Check-in at 01:15pm, 03:30pm - Check-in at 03:15pm; Departure Location: Bike and Roll NYC Central Park at Tavern on the Green; Description: Bike Central Park 8:30AM and 3:30PM will begin to run on May 26th for the 2014 season! NYC's Number 1 tourist destination is Central Park! This guided tour gives a comprehensive look at the park and visitors get to every famous spot they want to see. From Bethesda Fountain to Strawberry Fields and the Dakota to the Jackie Kennedy Onassis Reservoir, guests see it all. Participants will also visit lesser-known sights like Cleopatra's Needle, Sheep Meadow, the Shakespeare Garden, plus the Swedish Marionette Theater, and so much more. Four departures a day!

Excludes: Gratuity; Departure Time(s): 02:00pm - Check-in at 01:45pm; Departure Location: Bike and Roll NYC Battery Park; Description: Take a tour of the lower Manhattan and Brooklyn waterfronts from sea level with two easy climbs on the Williamsburg and Brooklyn bridges. See the iconic Manhattan skyline from Brooklyn as you ride south to the Brooklyn Bridge with several stops along the way. Once over the Brooklyn Bridge you'll head to the Hudson River to see the Statue of Liberty and the New York harbor.

  • Bike and Boat Guided Tour

    Riding Distance: 9 miles; Duration: 3 hours; Price - Includes: Comfort hybrid bike rental, helmet, and bottled water. Excludes: Gratuity; Departure Time(s): 09:30am - Check-in at 09:15am; Departure Location: Bike and Roll NYC Battery Park; Description: Sometimes we forget that Manhattan is an island and that the best way to see it is from both on-shore and off-shore. Take a guided tour via a bike and then a boat to really experience New York City. You'll start at Bike and Roll's Battery Park location and ride along the traffic-free bike path along the Hudson. You'll cross to the other side of Manhattan on city streets and pass City Hall before getting on and going over the Brooklyn Bridge. Some of the city's most beautiful neighbor- hoods are in Brooklyn and some of the best views of Manhattan are from the Brooklyn Heights Promenade. You'll see it all. At the bottom of Old Fulton Street, you'll board a NY Water Taxi where your tour continues with amazing close-up views (great for photos) of the South Street Seaport, Brooklyn Bridge, the Statue of Liberty, and Ellis Island with drop-of in midtown. Back on your bike, the final stretch of the ride takes you south along the Hudson River past Gehry's IAC building, the High Line, the Meatpacking District, yachts, marinas, and so much more, until you return to your starting point at Battery Park. (This tour is not recommended for children under 12 unless they are very strong and confident cyclists.)

  • 9/11 Memorial Tour / Tickets Included

    Riding Distance: 8 miles; Duration: 3 hours; Price - Includes: Comfort hybrid bike rental, helmet, and bottled water. Excludes: Gratuity; Departure Time(s): 01:30pm - Check-in at 01:15pm; Departure Location: Bike and Roll NYC Pier 84, Hudson River Park; Description: New York's memorial to a day that changed our history is the focus of this guided tour. Start at Bike and Roll's Pier 84 location and ride south along the Hudson river. As you pass such areas of interest as Chelsea, the Meatpacking District, and Battery Park City, you'll see many of New York's icons: The Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, and Ellis Island among them. At Battery Park you'll leave your bikes and walk with your guide to the 9/11 Memorial. Your ticket is included with your tour. There you'll have approximately half an hour to look at the flowing pools surrounded by the thousands of names of those lost that day. Afterwards you'll walk back to Battery Park for a guided bike tour through Lower Manhattan before biking back to Pier 84, your starting point.

  • New York at Night Tour

    Riding Distance: 7 miles; Duration: 2.5 hours; Price - Includes: Comfort hybrid bike rental, helmet, and bottled water. Excludes: Gratuity; Departure Time(s): 08:00pm - Check-in at 07:45pm; Departure Location: Bike and Roll NYC Central Park at Columbus Circle; Description: Tours will begin on May 26th and will run daily at 8:00pm through the last weekend in September. While Paris may be known as The City of Light, New York should vie for the title. Ride around Central Park for a look at some of its most famous sights, especially beautiful when they are illuminated at night. See the iconic Belvedere Castle, Bethesda Fountain, Guggenheim Museum, Onassis Reservoir, and so much more! All bikes are equipped with front and rear lights, reflective safety vests are included.
