  • Why Synthetics?

    All motor oils are made up of base oils and additives. In general, fully synthetic motor oils contain non-conventional, high-performance fluids and a system of additives to help prevent wear, keep an engine clean, flow easily, maintain viscosity, prevent rust and reduce friction. The result is a lubricant that remains liquid and slippery under the widest possible range of temperatures and engine conditions.

  • What Makes Synthetic Oil Superior to Conventional Oil?

    Historically, conventional oils lack the performance of synthetic oils in the areas of low-temperature performance and high-temperature oxidation stability. Conventional motor oil is made up of an inconsistent mixture of long and short chains of carbon and hydrogen atoms. In the extreme heat of an engine, short-chain molecules can evaporate, and unstable molecules can oxidize and break down. Conventional oils also contain much greater amounts of impurities, such as sulfur, reactive and unstable hydrocarbons, and other undesirable contaminants that cannot be completely removed by conventional refining of crude oil.

• Air Filter

  Most vehicles have two important filters, and both need to be replaced regularly to keep you and your vehicle healthy. Most manufacturers recommend replacement once a year or 20k—25k miles. Inspection of both of these filters is included in our Full Service Package (if accessible) so let the experts at the Xpress Lube Service Center locations do the dirty work for you.

  $59.95*. The power steering system operates as the control system for your wheels. It depends on the power from the vehicle and the power steering fluid to lubricate and keep the system free of contamination. When the additives wear down in your power fluid, the system does not operate as designed. Sludge, varnish, and loss of viscosity can cause leaks or power steering failure. * Most Cars. Power Steering Service Helps:

• Transmission Services

  * Standard Bulk Fluids… Most Vehicles. Synthetic and Specialty Fluids available at Additional Costs. Total Fluid Exchange Service $139.95*. Using the latest state-of-the-art technology, we will install a safe and effective cleaner to suspend harmful varnish and sludge from the transmission valve body, torque converter and lines. We will then flush and fill with new transmission fluid along with a fluid conditioner. This service is the manufacturer ’ s recommended level of service and is considered the industry standard.

  • Transmission Cleaner is installed

  • Transmission cooling line is connected to a specialized fluid exchange machine

  • While the engine is running and transmission is operating, approximately 15 quarts of new fluid is flushed through the valve body and torque converter

  • Install Transmission Conditioner

  • Service takes 20-30 minutes for most vehicles

• Coolant Services

  $119.95. Periodically checking the condition and strength of your coolant minimizes the risk of cooling system freezing or boiling over. Flushing the cooling system removes sediment and scale. This keeps corrosion out, so it can’t cause radiator, heater core leaks, thermostat problems, overheating and premature water pump failure. Many manufacturers recommend removing at least 90% of the old coolant before refilling the system. A traditional “Drain and Fill” service would require three to four consecutive cycles to get close to a 90% removal. We offer our service using a specialized and industry approved flushing machine, which operates at your vehicles normal operating temperatures and pressures. Ext-Life Coolant Only…Most vehicles.     Differential / Transfer Case / Man. Trans. We will drain or evacuate the old fluid from the differential and/or transfer case and replace it with a Synthetic Fluid. This fluid exceeds the manufacturer’s specification and provides extra protection in severe driving conditions. This synthetic fluid service is for those drivers who want drivers who want the ultimate level of protection.

  59.95*. Power away fuel system deposits with fuel System Cleaner technology. Fuel System Cleaner helps remove fuel related deposits such as gum, Varnish, and carbon that can build up on vital engine parts. Cleans and protects the following areas; Fuel Injectors, Intake Valves, Combustion Chambers , Intake Manifolds, Carburetors, and Intake Ports and Runners. * Service may cause check engine light to turn on. • Fuel Filters

  $39.95 labor plus Filter. Filter prices vary see technician for exact pricing. Clean fuel is essential for efficient engine performance. The fuel filter removes contaminants from the fuel system, like water, fungus, bacteria, sediments and other solids. Replacing the fuel filter at the recommended intervals helps protect your engine.

• Engine Oil Flush

  $19.95* In addition to our standard oil change package, we will install and circulate a powerful cleaner to remove damaging sludge and deposits from your lubrication system. The system is then refilled with high quality motor oil and a conditioner to prevent oxidation and reduce friction and wear. (*Engine Flush service is an additional charge to your Selected oil change package).
