Prime Martial Arts has been dedicated to teaching Lawrence Taekwondo for over the past 10 years. Voted Best of Lawrence this year for martial art schools, we strive to be the best for our students and for the community. We accept students aged 3 to 93 and feel Prime Martial Arts is beneficial to everyone! What’s one tip for first-time students that will make them feel like veterans? One tip that first-time students could use to make them feel like veterans is as simple as coming to your first class ready to have fun and learn. All of our students work together everyday to make sure everyone is having a good time and learning something new every day. What was the inspiration to start or run this business? Prime Martial Arts is a family owned business. The owner started training in martial arts over 20 years ago with his siblings. When he had the opportunity to open a school in Lawrence, he saw it as the perfect chance to share his knowledge with Lawrence while still spending time with family. What do you love most about your job? What the instructors of Prime Martial Arts love most about their jobs is the fact they get to do martial arts everyday while sharing it with the rest of the community, keeping them physically fit and safe while having fun doing it.
