Assam
Assam is a satisfying, deeply rich cup of tea and is used in many different tea blends. Serve this tea either hot or even poured over ice for a great summer iced tea. Milk or sugar compliments Assam very well. We serve Assam at some of our more traditional or English afternoon tea events and it pairs very well with strong food flavors. Assam black tea is a full bodied black tea from India. Malty characteristics, produces a sturdy, pungent liquor that is orange-red to dark red in color. Depending upon tea leaf size, 1 oz of tea brews about 8-10 cups of tea.

The "Champagne of Teas" Darjeeling blend tea is a partially oxidized tea leaf high grown in the Darjeeling region of India. The blend consists of the first picking and the autumnal picking. By blending the two pickings it allows for sameness of taste from year to year. The familiar blend is then enjoyed from season to season. Good with milk and sugar. Light fragrant color. Depending upon tea leaf size, 1 oz of tea brews about 8-10 cups of tea.

Premium black tea. Luxury Assam tea, golden-brown leaf tips with a strong and spicy taste. East Frisia is a small region in northeast Germany and is top ranking when it comes to drinking tea. It is rumoured that East Frisian tea is grown locally, which isn't possible as climate and soil conditions make its cultivation impossible. However, East Frisian qualities have gained a popularity that goes far beyond the borders of Germany. Very conscious of this tradition, they process the season's finest Assam teas in their blends. This blend has many golden-brown leaf tips and a classical, strong and spicy taste and is traditionally severed with a rock sugar and dash of cream.

An historic blend of black teas from India, China, Sri Lanka, Taiwan. A distinctive flavor and is a particularly good Breakfast or English tea. Eight at the Fort black tea has a rich historic beginning. 8 special teas were carefully chosen and blended for a peace conference held in June of 1997. Along with Bill Clinton seven foreign dignitaries were served this blend at The Fort restaurant in Denver, Colorado. Depending upon tea leaf size, 1 oz of tea brews about 8-10 cups of tea.

Peach nectar oolong is returning for yet another season in the tea shop! A fresh peach, with light lemongrass notes. Simple yet oh, so refreshing! Premium oolong tea blended with lemongrass, apples, orange slices, natural peach & bilberry flavors, peaches and a tang of hibiscus! This lightly oxidized oolong will contain a similar amount of caffeine as a standard green tea. A good rule of thumb is the darker the tea, the more caffeine it has, with a few exceptions of course!
