  • Espresso

    A concentrated coffee beverage/ Pressured hot water is forced through finely ground coffee. The first machines were introduced in Italy at the beginning of the 20th Century. Luigi Bezzera, who also invented the steam pressure, received the first patent in 1901

  • Latte

    A shot of espresso and steamed milk. "Latte" means "milk" in Italian. A "caffelatte" simply means "coffee with milk", and is a common drink throughout Europe. It was coined by an American in the mid-1900s for a drink containing espresso

  • Au Lait

    Coffee or Tea blended with steamed milk. "Au Lait" is French for "with milk"

  • Cappuccino

    Equal parts Espresso, Steamed milk, and Foamed milk. This name comes from the Capuchin Friars, referring to the color of their habits

  • Americano

    Espresso with hot water/ Similar strength as drip coffee, but different flavor. This name originates from WWII when American GIs in Europe would pour hot water into espresso to approximate the coffee to which they were accustomed

  • Cortado

    8oz. Drink/ 2 shots espresso/ Topped with steamed milk

  • Red Eye

    Steamed milk/ Dark Chocolate syrup/ Whipped Cream topper
