An unexpected late spring storm has blanketed Northern Colorado in heavy, wet snow and, along with it, downed branches, smashed outdoor furniture, and some serious damage to more significant personal property. While Metro Denver has remained largely untouched, surrounding foothill communities and those to the north and south have watched helplessly as trees topple and rivers rise.
