The Willis Independent School District began its budget discussion on Monday with the board's passage of a $2 million compensation package.
"We are very excited about our aggressive compensation package and our board's commitment to remain competitive through salary so that we can retain and attract great employees," Willis ISD Superintendent Tim Harkrider said.
