In late June, officials with the SJRA Board of Directors approved the public entity's Fiscal Year 2020 budget with a 4.5 percent increase for participants of the Groundwater Reduction Plan, which is a regional alliance of communities and entities devoted to satisfy conservation guidelines set by the Lone Star Groundwater Conservation District, said Heather Ramsey Cook, director of Communications & Public Affairs for the SJRA.
