Genuinely suspenseful thriller from Blake Edwards (who I normally associate with comedy). Asthmatic psych Ross "Artemus Gordon" Martin terrorizes bank teller Lee Remick into embezzling for him. Fortunately, FBI agent Glenn Ford is there to help. Not going to spoil anything else, except Martin looks like the Unibomber in the final act. A noir film that sadly gets overlooked because of that stupid "noir ends at 1958" rule (which I refuse to acknowledge). With Stefanie Powers as Remick's kid sister.
