Coroner identifies woman killed in North Hopewell Township crash
YORK COUNTY, Pa.-- Update: The individual killed in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday night has been identified as 46-year-old Rachel Shahan, of Stewartstown. Previous: A woman is dead after a Tuesday night crash. On Tuesday around 10:55 p.m., the coroner responded to Dunkard Valley Road at Swamp Road in North Hopewell Township for a reported crash with entrapment.
ISP investigating fatal motorcycle crash in Gem County
Idaho State Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash this afternoon. ISP was called to the scene around 9am this morning where they say William Miller of Emmett, failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Berglund and Dewey Road in Gem County. Police tell CBS 2 News Miller was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident when his motorcycle left the roadway and crashed in a field 30 yards away. Miller died during the crash, next of kin has been notified.
Vegas Lost: Searching for an inmate
Nevada is getting ready to send a 15-year-old girl to serve her prison sentence in Arizona. News 3 has been covering the case of Dayshara Paschal Campos for months now. She's convicted of stabbing her classmate and sentenced as an adult in December. Dayshara will serve that sentence in a facility in Arizona, as Nevada has no prison that can house a juvenile female. Nevada won’t tell us which facility in Arizona will house her, citing safety concerns.
Store owner, family member restrain armed robber until State Police arrive
LANCASTER COUNTY -- A store owner and a family member restrained an armed robber Friday evening. The incident occurred just before 5:30 p.m. Friday at Sunrise Grocery in Bart Township. According to police, 45-year-old David Whitton entered the store and allegedly displayed a handgun while attempting to take money from the register. That's when the two individuals confronted Whitton and restrained him until troopers arrived on scene.
