SEGUIN, Texas - Officials in Guadalupe County confirmed Monday 11 additional cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of cases to 39. According to a press release, 33 cases remain active with six patients reportedly recovering from the virus. One patient is currently hospitalized outside of the county due to the severity of their symptoms. Additionally, officials said the three most recent patients live together in the same house-hold and are currently self-quarantined.

As of Monday evening, there are 502 confirmed cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Austin/Travis County. There have been six deaths from the virus. The city of Austin released the new numbers on its COVID-19 website. It is believed there is sustained person-to-person spread in the community.
