Yoga Strength

Morning is a strengthening yoga class. Tone muscles, stabilize joints, and focus on muscles that are critical to supporting the spine. When combined with our Yoga stretch classes or Flow Yoga on Monday, you will have a wonderful yoga practice that enhances your health & wellbeing. All levels, also great for beginners with some experience. Smithfield location: Thursday 9:00-10:00am

Posture Fundamentals

Posture fundamentals yoga class is designed to allow you to slowly, within your own comfort zone, learn and explore the yoga postures. In each class we will concentrate on 4-5 static poses, taking time to prepare the body and mind for an in-depth experience. At the end, we connect them all together, integrating the postures into an explorative flow. This class is open to all levels, and great for beginners with some experience. Smithfield location: Thursday 6:00-7:00pm

Mindful Awareness Meditation

Meditation is now offered at the smithfield studio. Mindful awareness meditation is a technique that helps us unlock ourselves from habits of unconscious reaction to the new possibilities of responding and being in our daily lives. Discover the positive benefits of meditation in your life. Smithfield location only every 3rd wednesday from 6:45-7:30pm

All Levels Yoga

Bring yourself into our All Levels class combining flow with the strengthening of some statically held poses. Modifications for the beginner, and plenty of challenge for the more experienced yogi. If the week has thrown you off track, find your center again by joining mind and body in our all levels yoga class. If you feel you need to reset your body and regain your focus, this class is designed to offer you space. Enjoy the positive physical and emotional energy of yoga. Each Saturday class has a different instructor bringing their personal style and practice to the class. Smithfield location: Wednesday from 5:30-6:30pm

Chill & Slow

A great place to begin. Introducing stretching and strengthening of the body slowly and with gentle consideration. Especially good for individuals that are entering into a beginning fitness program after a period of inactivity, or after an illness or chronic issue. This class is one hour. A Gentle Beginner Class. Smithfield location: Tuesday 5:30-6:30pm

Strengthen, stretch, relax and breath in a friendly and nurturing place. At The Yoga Connection our mission is to introduce yoga and meditation to the community as a form of health & wellness. We present yoga as a healing art encompassing meditation for stress reduction, yoga therapy for physical & emotional support and healing, and general yoga classes and massage therapy to maintain and improve overall health & wellness. Our goal is to work together with conventional medical practices in a holistic approach to better health and well being.
